Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Species

Since 1985, staff naturalists, volunteers, citizen scientists, students and researchers have surveyed and inventoried the biodiversity within the Sanctuary. As a result we have a good assessment of the diversity of our animals and plants. In addition to organized surveys concentrating on certain groups of organisms, the Sanctuary has also held two BioBlitzes (2007 and 2009) in order to expand our knowledge.
