Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary, Nature Preserve at Waysons Corner

Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary’s Nature Preserve at Waysons Corner is a beautiful 30-acre parcel of land located near the town of Waysons Corner at the intersection of Sands Road and Old Southern Maryland Boulevard (Figure 1). This property was purchased in April 2008 as a result of the interest and efforts of local community members who wanted this land to be protected.
