Women of the Woods

Tap into the serenity of a day filled with nature and the camaraderie of women. We will enjoy a leisurely 2-4 mile hike through the woods looking for signs of plants, animals, and the change of seasons. A catered, gourmet lunch will be shared on the historic Riggleman House porch, located on Jug Bay’s newest property, Emory Waters Nature Preserve. Try your hand at fire starting or test your aim with a slingshot. Learn history and plans for the property and enjoy interesting conversations. After lunch we will enjoy a relaxing session of sound healing by a certified crystal alchemy sound healer. Please bring a yoga mat or heavy towel.

Please bring water, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, and wear comfortable shoes. Some terrain will be uneven, however, most is easy to negotiate. Prompt program start time so please arrive by 9:15 am.
