Walking is recognized as a basic exercise, yet very beneficial both physically and mentally (or emotionally), especially during the current COVID-19 period. The benefits have been recognized by the State which declared it the Official Exercise of Maryland. Join Master Naturalist Mike Quinlan to celebrate Walk Maryland Day with a brisk 4 – 6 mile hike through the Sanctuary. We’ll visit various sections of the park and enjoy the crisp fall weather. Free event with $6/vehicle entrance fee. Ages 10 and up.
