We are seeking new Volunteer Naturalists to help with spring field trips to lead small groups of students through the wetland, woods, and streams of Jug Bay! Join our Open House to learn all about our Classrooms in the Field program and experience aspects of a typical field trip. Those who wish to join the team will given full training as a Volunteer Naturalist. You just need to provide the enthusiasm and love for kids and the outdoors!

Field trips are during the school day, generally from 10am to 2pm.  Volunteer Naturalists commit to leading a minimum of two field trips per month in the spring and fall. The spring field trip season lasts from late March to early June and the fall season begins in late September and ends by November. As a Volunteer Naturalist, you enjoy an immersion in Jug Bay wildlife including osprey, salamanders, birds, and frogs, and more in this beautiful freshwater tidal ecosystem.

Registration is required by clicking the Register button at the top of this page.
