Join expert archaeologist Dr. Zachary Singer, Research Archeologist at the Maryland Historical Trust, in a kayaking expedition to learn about the archaeological and cultural history along the Patuxent River. He will be discussing the results of a recent archaeological survey of Jug Bay, which documented archaeological resources ranging from occupations from 13,000 years ago to the historic period. Zac will share how these archaeological sites inform us about past ways of life along the Patuxent River.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, sun hat, sunglasses, a lunch, and closed toed shoes that can get wet. Ages 13 and older.
