Cancelled: Survival Skills Series: Part III: Basic Foraging

Join Naturalist and Search and Rescue team member Liana Vitali for a fun hands-on adventure to learn basic foraging skills. Liana will share her knowledge on how to pack for day and extended hikes to keep well nourished. She will then take you for a hike in the forest to search and identify edible plants and fruits and any other sources of food, while learning some fun facts about different species. This program will occur both indoors and outdoors so participants should plan to dress for the weather. 15 participants. Ages: 12 and older. Fee: $8 per person.
