Pollinator Wednesday

Discover the world of native plants and pollinators while improving your health through exercise, fresh air, and connecting with nature. Meet new friends and enjoy interesting conversations at Jug Bay’s Pollinator Garden. Master the art of weeding, mulching, pruning, dividing, and planting to maintain and build gardens. 

To beat the heat we will work 8 am – 11 am 6/24/26 – 9/16/26. In cold months we will perform various stewardship projects in need of support. 

Bring your favorite gardening gloves and tools if you have them, and plenty of drinking water. Ages:12 and up; 12 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult; 15 and older must be accompanied by an adult on the first day to complete a release form. Free. Walk-ins welcome! No registration needed. Upon arrival at Emory Waters Nature Preserve, proceed through the driveway gate about 1 mile to the second white house.
