Jug Bay BioBlitz

Join Jug Bay staff and naturalists for the first-ever BioBlitz at Emory Waters Nature Preserve! Volunteers work in expert-led teams to find, identify, and record as many species as possible during the 24-hour period. No prior training or experience is necessary to join our BioBlitz. Free. Ages 8 and up; 8 to 14 must be accompanied by an adult; 15 and older must be accompanied by an adult at the start of the time slot to complete a release form. A notification email will be sent the week before to registered participants verifying the information. Registration and current health guidelines are required. Please type your name next to an available shift to register for the three-hour time slot–and feel free to register for as many surveys as you’d like! After signing up for a time slot, please complete your registration by emailing rpexar21@aacounty.org to receive further information about the event.
