Free Paddle Play Day

Families are welcome to join us for a fun day on the water at Emory Waters Nature Preserve! You will have the opportunity to try kayaks, paddle boards, and/or canoes. Water and snacks will be provided. Closed toe shoes are required to paddle. For kayaks and paddle boards, children must be 13 years or older. For canoes children must be at least 7 years old. Children under 13 must be accompanied by two paddling adults. The child will sit in the middle of the canoe with adults paddling. Children 13 and older can paddle with one adult. Don’t forget your sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses. This is a FREE event but registration is required at www.jugbay.org Event Calendar and click on the event. Closer to the program an email will be sent to registered participants with more information.
