Cancelled – Firefly Frenzy

Cancelled – Whether you call them lightning bugs or fireflies, these spectacular beetles have been a favorite childhood memory for so many. Join staff naturalist, Debra Gage, to observe these gems of the night along the forest edge and open fields at Emory Waters Nature Preserve. Learn more about lightning bugs, observe the different flash patterns and what they mean, learn how to attract them to your yard, and enjoy their presence. All ages welcome. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Fee: $5. Current health guidelines and registration required.
