Field Work Fridays – April with a Twist: Cleaning Jug Bay Marshes!

Kick off the weekend with the great feeling that comes with doing good and important work! Join our Field Work Fridays during the month of April to help us clean up our Jug Bay marshes. During the five Fridays of this month we will take participants on a small boat ride to the marshes where we will pick up trash brought from the upper watershed after heavy rain events. All trash collected will be documented using Clean Swell. Please bring knee high boots (or shoes that can get wet and muddy) and a change of clothes. Volunteers are welcome to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy after our work is completed. No prior training or experience is necessary to join our Field Work Fridays! Free. Ages 18 and up. Meet at the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Visitor Center, 1361 Wrighton Road, Lothian. Registration and current health guidelines required.
