Kick off the weekend with the great feeling that comes with doing good and important work! Join our Field Work Fridays at Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary. Every Friday rain or shine, volunteers join staff naturalists to tackle a stewardship project in need of support.
In April, volunteers will have a unique opportunity to clean the Jug Bay marshes. Ride on a jon boat at low tide out to our marshes where you will walk in pairs to collect trash that has accumulated throughout the seasons. All supplies and materials provided. Dress warmly!
Volunteers are welcome to bring a bagged lunch to enjoy after our work is completed. No prior training or experience is necessary to join our Field Work Fridays! Free. Ages 18 and up; A notification email will be sent on Thursday to registered participants verifying the project and location.
