Cancelled – 2020 Jug Bay Post Turkey 5K Trail Run

Cancelled – Join Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary’s Superintendent Patricia Delgado for a fun 5K run along our beautiful, scenic trails of the Jug Bay Glendening Nature Preserve. The first group of 10 runners will meet at 8:30 am and the second group of 10 will meet 10:00 am; both groups will report at the Glendening Preserve, 5702 Plummer Lane, Lothian. Starts will be staggered one person at a time and those with faster times will go first. The trail is all off road with some single track areas. Run times would not be recorded. All proceeds from the run will go to the Friends of Jug Bay to fund the furnishings of 5 cabins, part of the Jug Bay Field Station Project. The cabins will provide overnight facilities to students, researchers, and visitors. Maximum 20 participants. Cost: $15 per person. Ages: 12 and older. Registration required. Please bring a COVID mask.
