Map of the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary (southern region)
This part of the Sanctuary is south of Wrighton Road. It includes the Wetlands Center and many boardwalks and trails that provide access to the river and wetlands.

Map of the Parris N. Glendening Nature Preserve (northern region)
This part of the Sanctuary is north of Wrighton Rd. and is bordered by Plummer Lane on the east and Route 4 on the north. It includes about 5 miles of trails that cover mostly upland forests and fields.
The Glendening Nature Preserve at Jug Bay is open for hiking from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Closed Sundays Dec.-Feb.)
Parking and trail maps are located in kiosks at the Wrighton Rd. and Plummer House entrances. There is no entrance fee for the Preserve. Volunteers can participate in trail monitoring and in on-going research studies on the Preserve, including the Habitat Survey. Contact the office for details.
