Stream Study

Saturday, January 23; 11:00 am.  Join us to learn about stream ecology  and assist us with our research. The quality of the Chesapeake Bay starts with its tributary streams, which are impacted by forest loss, development, and agriculture. Our water quality research is now focused on three streams flowing through the Sanctuary: Galloway, Two-run, and Pindell Creeks. 

We'll hike to the stream, sample for stream insects, then bring them back to the Wetlands Center to sort and identify them.
