Summer is an ideal times to observe the many species of butterflies visiting the Butterfly Garden at the Glendening Nature Preserve. The garden is open on Tuesdays and weekends.
A variety of host and nectar plants were planted by volunteer Dave Perry to attract these beautiful winged wonders. The garden is located behind Plummer House, in the field between the two barns.
