We sampled the following three streams as part of our Stream Watershed Study. The relative abundance of each family of invertebrates found is described below. As indicators of biological integrity, stream macroinvertebrates can help us understand the health of our streams. The %EPT for each stream is based on the amount of Ephemeroptera (Mayflies), Plecoptera (Stoneflies), and Trichoptera (Caddisflies) caught in the sample; orders of insects that are sensitive to pollution.
The Galloway Creek sample contained 96 individuals from 11 different families. The EPT was 73%.
The Pindell Branch sample contained 51 individuals from 10 different families. The EPT was 86%.

The Two Run Branch sample contained 91 individuals from 21 different families. The EPT was 44%.
