Scout Projects
Considering a project at Jug Bay...
The Sanctuary has 3 primary goals that are incorporated into all that we do.
o Education - Provide environmental education opportunities
o Research - Conduct ecological research
o Stewardship - Conserve Jug Bay’s unique ecosystem
We encourage scouts to visit the Sanctuary and walk the grounds to get a feel for what the area is like.
We also encourage browsing our website to learn more about the activities that go on here to see if our goals match your interests.
Based on what you learn, try and come up with at least one project idea, and submit an application.
Scouts are required to complete projects within 6 months of project approval.
